Integration of the Plugins in OpenOffice.org
If you add the file jffmpeg-1.0.0.jar the Classpath of OpenOffice.org, as described with the
installation of the JMF (Extras|Optionen>OpenOffice.org>Java, switching surface “Class
Path”, then “archives add”)
Around all codecs of the Jffmpeg package to use to be able you must use the native
component. In addition one must take up it to the LIBRARY Path also (naturally to have also
the ffmpeg packages to be installed). Like one the path for run time libraries sets you already
further above experienced (with the JMF installation). Add simply the path in addition in that
you the native library (libjffmpeg.so) stored. If you have the Jffmpeg LIBRARY in the
Unterordner lib/ext the JMF installed, then the instruction reads now
$ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/pfad/zu/JMF-2.1.1e/lib: /pfad/zu/JMF-2.1.1e/lib/ext
Again you have the possibility the path into OpenOffice.org - starting script or into your
Loginskripte of registering.
Time for the third test
After a restart of OpenOffice.org you can test now the OGG support. Open in addition for the
Mediaplayer over Extras|Mediaplayer and open you a ogg file. The file should be played
now.
Note: If necessary you must be able to select the filter of type of file on “all files (*.*)” to
place thereby you a ogg file.
Functioned that, then you created it. With the combination of JMF and ffmpeg you can play
now (nearly) everything.
