Chapter 6: Creating Drawings with Draw
Export
Use Draw to quickly and easily create buttons and icons for Web pages et cetera and export
them as GIF, JPG, PNG or other formats.
Construct
There are many tools that Help create exact drawings. For example, define a grid to which an
object can be snapped during construction and moving, or temporarily snap new objects to
the edges and points of existing objects. The size of the object can be altered at any time by
entering the required measurements in the Properties dialogue. It is also simple to insert
dimension lines which can be used in a variety of ways.
Integrate
And, in case it is not obvious, Draw allows the user to add texts, tables, charts and formulae
from the other program modules of OpenOffice.org into any drawing.
