Exporting Presentations as Web Pages
When the Web Page export file format is chosen, Impress automatically starts an Wizard to
help produce an attractive HTML presentation. A number of HTML pages are created that
are connected to one another by hyperlinks and in which the graphics are saved as GIF or
JPEG images. One can work on these HTML pages in Writer to give them headings and
additional hyperlinks, for example.
1. Select File > Export...
2. Choose the file format HTML.
3. Enter a file name
4. Click Save.
This opens the HTML Export Wizard. This Wizard is described, in detail, in OpenOffice.org
Help.
In the HTML Export Wizard, choose whether the created Internet presentation should
contain frames, be navigates using graphic buttons or with text links and whether a link
should be offered on the home page allowing the user to download the original Impress
presentation.
